What is a silent auction?

Sometimes it happens that a property is offered for silent auction. When a property is in a silent auction, this means that the property is not actively offered on Funda and/or other sales sites. A seller may not want a sign in the garden or many people responding to the property. They only want serious interested parties to come and look at the property, which have already been selected by an estate agent. Another reason that often occurs is that a seller does not want the immediate surroundings to know that the house is for sale. However, when the property is for silent sale, it is visible in the exchange system for other estate agents, who often have registered searchers in their portfolio. If the property meets their search profile, they can introduce it to these searchers. In general, the sales process of a property that is in a silent auction takes longer than a normal sales process. The reason for this, of course, is that the property comes to the attention of far fewer people.

Your property via in the silent auction
